About Brownsburg Lacrosse
Brownsburg Lacrosse, formed in 2014, is based in Brownsburg, IN.
In 2014, we fielded the first boys lacrosse teams in Hendricks County at three youth levels, 3rd/4th grade, 5th/6th grade and 7th/8th grade, as well as a high school level team based out of Brownsburg HS.
In 2015, we fielded the first girls lacrosse teams in Hendricks County at two youth levels: 3rd/4th/5th and 6th/7th/8th grade. Additionally, we started a clinic-style, once-weekly session called Little LAXers for boys and girls in Kindergarten, 1st or 2nd grades.
In 2016, we fielded the first girls HS lacrosse team in Hendricks County, which was comprised of girls from Brownsburg and Avon. This team now is Brownsburg HS students only.
The boys and girls youth teams compete in the Indiana Youth Lacrosse Association playing mostly against teams in the Indianapolis area, but also travelling to other communities in the state like Ft Wayne, Bloomington, Columbus and Evansville.
The Boys High School team is affiliated with the Indiana High School Lacrosse Association.
The Girls High School team is affiliated with the Indiana Girls Lacrosse Association.
All participants in the IYLA, IHSLA, INGLA and Brownsburg Lacrosse will be required to be members of US Lacrosse, the National Governing Body of Lacrosse. Current membership status will be checked before each season and memberships that expire during the season will need to be renewed.
